ABOUT THE POET     I started writing poems in 1999. At the time I didn't know what I was doing, but it felt great. One of the first poems I wrote was during my attendance in college in South Carolina. I kept this little Green Book with me in which I scribbled down my poems during busrides to soccer games. From that point on I started carrying that book with me all the time, protecting it even better than my passport. I enjoy reading my past poems. It's a reflection and understanding of the feelings I had, when writing them. As my inspirational poet, artist and guidance as a leader I got Tupac 'Amaru' Shakur on the frontline. A character many started to understand since he blew his last breath. "When my heart can beat no more, I hope I die for a principle or a belief that I have lived for" Tupac 'Amaru' Shakur | 1971 - 1996 People that know me, have questioned why I write in English. The one simple answer is 'comfort'. Although I've started experimenting in Dutch & Papiamentu as well. My goal with this website is to give the world a glimpse into some of my work and inspire individuals to follow their heart and ambitions no matter what.
